Victoria Woodbridge
Victoria is a Principal Planner based at TPG’s Nelson office.
Victoria has over 15 years’ experience in planning roles within New Zealand and the UK and has worked for Local Authorities and the private sector. She has worked for Unitary and Territorial Authorities and Private Consultancies and has a wide range of consenting, policy, advisory and regulatory planning experience in both urban, rural and coastal areas. In her private consultancy roles, she has supported private clients as well as Territorial and Unitary Authorities in a wide range of resource management projects including private plan changes, Council initiated Plan Changes and a full Plan review as well as preparing and processing resource consents for large scale projects. Victoria has presented expert evidence for both resource consent and policy hearings and at the Environment Court.
Victoria has strong organisational and problem-solving skills which she has used to balance policy work alongside managing, preparing and processing a wide range of resource consent applications both for Local Authorities and the private sector primarily in the top of the south. Victoria is familiar with regional and district planning frameworks having worked for Unitary Authorities and has experience implementing National Policy Statements and Standards and navigating the RMA regulatory process.
Having been involved with a number of large-scale applications, District Plan reviews and submissions, Council initiated plan changes and private plan change requests Victoria has a high level of understanding of the complexities of legislative and planning framework along with project management skills necessary to co-ordinate different experts in order to provide positive outcomes for clients.
