Tim Chaplin

Tim Chaplin is TPG’s Finance and Technology Manager based at TPG’s Napier office.

Tim leads TPG’s accounting, finance, and IT teams. The accounting and finance team is responsible for all aspects of the financial processing and reporting within TPG. The IT team operates a responsive service desk, maintains a secure, cost-effective, fit-for-purpose IT and communications environment, and reimagines the business based on the changing IT world. Tim is also responsible for the groups’ tax, financial reporting and accounting standards compliance.

Tim’s background is in IT with a second career as a chartered accountant after joining one of the top 4 accounting firms where he worked in audit, data analytics and business advisory roles before taking responsibility for group financial and statutory reporting in a local government finance team.
