Joanne Skuse

Joanne (Jo) is a Senior Planner based at TPG’s Queenstown office.

Jo has 7 years of planning experience within Local Government and the private sector. Her client base includes both local government and private clients in the development industry.

Jo has experience with strategic planning and policy projects as well as consent processing, including notified applications. This broad experience means that she has a clear understanding of the application of effective plan provisions and is well placed to assist with both policy projects and lead or assist development projects requiring consent.

Jo’s private client work includes strategic planning for client’s long-term goals. This often relates to Council Plan Changes and includes the lodgment of submissions, preparation of planning evidence and presenting at hearings. Jo has been involved with the Fast Track Act preparing and lodging a Fast Track application for a large development in Queenstown. This includes community consultation and engagement, stakeholder management and consent preparation. Additionally, Jo has experience in consenting strategy for large scale renewable energy projects,

Jo is competent in undertaking due diligence assessments for private clients and government bodies and preparing necessary resource consent applications. Additionally, she has experience in notice of requirement applications and designations.
