Joanne Skuse

Joanne (Jo) is a Senior Planner based at TPG’s Queenstown office.

Jo has close to 8 years of planning experience within local government and the private sector. Before joining TPG, Jo worked as a Consents Planner at Queenstown Lakes District Council.

Jo has strong planning expertise in both policy drafting and resource consent processing. Jo’s time spent working for Southland Councils including Gore District Council, Invercargill City Council, as well as Queenstown Lakes District Council, has resulted in her being highly competent working in a complex and varied planning environment.

Jo has been involved in a variety of significant projects both within urban environments and highly sensitive landscape environments. Recent consent focus includes large infrastructure projects such as solar farms and medium density housing development, which required competency in implementing higher order documents such as National Policy Statements and National Environment Standards. Jo is competent in subdivision processing and has experience processing Section 223 and 224c certification certificates on behalf of Council.

Jo’s comprehensive planning expertise and collaborative approach make her an invaluable asset in navigating complex planning processes and achieving successful project outcomes.
