Angela Jones

Angela is Planning Manager - Wellington, based at TPG's Wellington office.

Joining TPG in 2015, Angela is a qualified planner and a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute. With over 25 years’ experience in resource management roles, both in local government and consultancy, Angela has extensive consenting, regulatory planning, advisory and policy experience. The majority of these roles have focused on the preparation and processing of resource consent applications and Notice of Requirements for designations, as well as advising Government agencies, corporate and residential clients on RMA and planning related matters for their property portfolios.

Angela completed the Making Good Decisions Course in 2016 with re-accreditation in 2019 and sits as a commissioner on District Council hearings. Angela is skilled in application and Assessment of Environmental Effects preparation and feasibility projects for a range of projects. These range from large scale commercial and residential developments and subdivisions through to small scale residential housing proposals.

Angela has a detailed knowledge the regulatory and consenting framework. Angela significant experience at the ‘coal face’ provides a detailed knowledge of how the regulatory framework affects development proposals on the ground.

Angela undertakes Notice of Requirement work on behalf of requiring authorities including site elevations and due diligence assessments.
