Bay of Plenty Regional Council's Whakatane Accommodation
Client: Bay of Plenty Regional Council
Bay of Plenty Regional Council (BOPRC) owned its premises in Whakatane, however it was not fit for purpose. BOPRC engaged TPG to undertake a gap analysis to understand where the premises fell short and to identify preferred solutions with indicative costs for adoption in the 2015 – 2025 Long Term Plan, followed by subsequent implementation.
Deliverables for this project included managing the process to develop an Organisation Wide Accommodation Plan (OWAP) which would provide the basis for all future BOPRC office accommodation decisions and layouts. The process included staff and management workshops, as well as leading a team of architects and other professionals to formulate workplace principles and produce the OWAP.
We worked together with BOPRC to determine how to best close the gap and figure out the optimum solution.
